ICHRA Enrollment
This page describes the IdeonEnroll ICHRA solution and basic implementation requirements
Overview
IdeonEnroll's set of APIs can be used to manage and send ICHRA enrollments for a given group. Our solution leverages the same central endpoints that are used for group enrollment, with minimal additions/changes.
In addition to direct management of enrollment, Ideon offers a payments solution for ICHRA. Due to the myriad plan options selected across a group, providing and managing payments with Carriers can be time-consuming for ICHRA.
For participating carriers, Ideon can assist with payments by interfacing with the carriers, transmitting the ICHRA allowance and premium information per ICHRA election.
Once integrated, a platform can use all our existing endpoints.
These include reporting endpoints, which allow a platform to retrieve real-time data on the members, coverages, and errors associated with ICHRA enrollments.

Ideon can help you manage the annual volume of ICHRA enrollments, allowing you to Create a Group, send plan selections and members, and track the status of your submission.

Carriers
Ideon provides carriers with enrollment transactions on behalf of our platforms. Carriers receive enrollments in their prescribed format and respond to us with details regarding the success or failure of enrollment transactions.
Ideon manages a close relationship with each carrier partner and ensures our singular format is translated across carrier formats, behaviors, and business rules. Ideon also uses any carrier census processes that are available to identify and resolve enrollment discrepancies.

Payments
We offer a payments solution for ICHRA management, based on each Carrier's current capabilities:
Payment Redirection
On the member level, we open a payment process during the application with Carrier
A redirect url is created for the member to securely create an Initial Binder Payment
During this process, the member can confirm and initiate Auto-Pay for future payments
Credit Card or ACH payment is available for this feature
Ideon initiates and tracks the application and payment independently
Credit Card Tokenization
Ideon receives billing information from the platform, securely storing in a PCI compliant vault
Ideon receives a token to use during the direct payment process with select carriers
We generate and format payment transmissions to Carriers, enabling Auto-pay if desired and available at the Carrier.
During direct Payment, we receive back information on errors or discrepancies and automatically surface these to your team in the Discrepancies API
