Account structures detail the plan setup information for a group and, depending on the group, they can get pretty complicated. Ideon seeks to simplify the process so that your team doesn't have to worry about the thousands of different carrier identifier permutations each Carrier needs.
To demonstrate how we simplify the process, let's look at a hypothetical example: Vinny D's Pizzeria with UnitedHealthcare. Vinny D's is a huge business with lots of employees and they offer Medical, Dental, and Vision to those employees. Since the business is so large, with many locations and varied employment sources, the account structure is quite large. Vinny D's offers 10 different types of Medical plans, 4 different Dental plans, and 3 different Vision plans. There are 10 different classes that Vinny D has broken their employees up into. In this theoretical example, this results in 200 different plan codes the Carrier needs based on the plan and class elections!
Here is a snippet of the example account structure:
Ideon's system enables you to simply load in the distinct classes, apply them to each subscriber, load in the distinct plans, elect the coverage for each subscriber and dependent. After that, Ideon handles all of the 200 different codes the Carrier needs when conveying coverage.
Here is a Postman Collection detailing an abridged example of how you would load in this group into the Ideon system: Postman Collection
After loading in the group and informing the Ideon team that the group has been loaded, Ideon will configure the group to show the right Carrier identifiers for each member election. Here is a sneak peek of what happens under the hood:
As you can tell from the image above, Ideon handles each of the 200 permutations so that all you have to worry about is putting the member in the right class and with the right plan. Ideon will handle communicating the Carrier identifier based on those elections.
